At least with SMS voting now the Popular awards are more likely to represent public opinion, rather than that of about 25 &lt;i&gt;TV Week&lt;/i&gt; readers, although how they come up with the list of finalists is anyone's guess - perhaps it's somehow based on ratings?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I love the parochial/daggy nature of it, and that the imported guests recognise it as such as well - Chris Noth and George Eads' incredulity and hamminess last year was hilarious.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">catbrain</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 11 Apr 2007 02:39:39 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Logies Nominations</title><link>http://boxcutters.net/blog/2007/04/09/logies-nominations/#comment-4979644</link><description>The Logies are full of shit. It should be industry event rather than an award show based no nothing but TV Week readers with a limited choices. Still the logies did have one golden moment.
