One other resource is the first and best mass download medium....usenet.
In addition to bitmetv (the GOD of tv torrent sites) I use easynews.com I pay 9.98 US per 20/gb downloaded (which lasts for AGES!)or 30 days whichever comes first.

No upload ratio and most of the big stuff is actually uploaded by the scene crews to usenet first and then sent to all the torrent sites.
It can be a little daunting but if you've got a bit of know-how it can be a real godsend to not have to worry about ratio's or if like Rob your ISP is a bunch idiots and is monitoring torrent ports etc.

I can send you guys some more info on using easynews if you'd like (there are other usenet sites like giganews etc. but easynews is the first one I've found that lets you do http downloads and not have to run a news client.)

UKNova are a bit Nazi-ish about ratios though. I grabbed one thing a while ago, and because my upload speed was not fast enough (not my fault it was max out) I was deemed a leecher and banned.

UKNova.com is good for UK shows, obviously (I only signed up to download That Mitchell & Webb Look); but, like Diwana, membership is limited.

And how the hell can Channel 9's Money special from Monday night be torrentable?!

Pity there isn't one show from the Diwana list I have any interest in - other than Bookclub which I have seen.

Also, forgive my probable ignorance, but isn't all the ipodnova stuff for ipods? Meaning they're smaller size so don't look that great on a regular tv?

My ISP's cable upload speed is seriously deficient (guess who), making it difficult to obtain good UL/DL ratios, so I usually have to pay for "upload credit" (around 25 cents per Gigabyte) if I want a fast download of a new torrent.

Does bitmetv.org let you buy a good ratio? My ISP sends me warning notices if I seed anything faster than 15 KB/s for more than a few hours.
