Ep 207: Modern Family, Twilight Zone
yes, once again i am up late waiting for your cast.
Great ep guys, you've turned me into a serious JT fan.... so much so my wife is wondering why when I watch channel 9 news, I'll be like, look, it's James Talia (JT in extended remix speak) all excitedly. ;)
2. Rove did not choose a show to appear on, a Tonight Show producer saw him and invited him to appear on it.
I can't imagine what context they'd bring him out in... "Here's a guy you've never heard of but he's the hottest shit from downunder - John McManus!"
Anything like that?
Gina Jeffreys sings both kinds of music; Alyssa Jane-Cook was in E Street. (How could anyone forget that show?? Wait, don't answer that...)
Josh, I am so with you about babies - enough already!
Re Independent: I'm a politics junkie so I'd be interested in seeing one or two eps. I agree, MySpazz is so last year, although the current political climate might support such a venture... look at what MoveOn.org have accomplished with "town hall" meetings held in local schools and private homes; as well as the recent vote from a New England town to impeach GW. It sounds a bit lame on paper, but it might just work.
Re the BB White Room: is it really a violation of human rights if you have the opportunity to leave whenever you want? Publicity whores, one and all - I have no sympathy. Of course this sort of shite is going to get on air WHEN PEOPLE CONTINUE TO WATCH. (It's all about the ratings, Josh, as you love to tell us. *grin*)
I don't mind The Sideshow - it's in a family entertainment slot, so they can't go too far. I've only seen the first ep so far and they were trying to push it as much as possible, particularly a bit b/w Claire Hooper and Paul McD regarding words they can use for breasts "No, you can't say hooters, and no - you can't say fun bags either" etc. It's a shame they've got the Umbilical Brothers and Flacco on - is there no one else? and Paul singing - I blame every fecker who bought that crappy cover of 'Throw Your Arms Around Me'.
(Tangent: "Farewell, Mr Hooper" is one of the most poignant bits of Sesame Street ever.)
There's been some news this week about Joost - the second article backs up the comment one of you made regarding accessibility...
Unfortunately, not all the content is available to everyone.
Channels and programs available on Joost vary by geographic region, based on copyright ownership. While most programming currently is available to viewers in the United States, Joost has promised to enhance its worldwide offering with the addition of international, regional and local partners on a continuing basis.
Joost expands content
Is Joost worth the wait?
Brett - re Rove into America (if only it were more like Spinal Tap): there's a puff piece from ACA available on YouTube...(courtesy of Mr B)

Other wise. Good show.
ps. jk by the way.
